D3 Inc. provided overall project management services for the poolside display while Western Audio Visual provided installation services. Dallas-based sign company YESCO installed the Y-shaped exterior signs.
The poolside digital display is mounted on a granite wall and features a 3.9 mm pixel pitch. At 9'10" tall and 18' wide (768 pixels by 1,408 pixels), the video display is nearly 180 square feet of digital canvas and contains more than one million total pixels.
The project also includes three custom-built, full-matrix LED channel letters designed to represent the hotel and resort’s brand. Two of the “Y”-shaped channel letters are 14 feet tall and mounted to Yaamava’s exterior building façade on either side of the main entrance. Each of the twin displays extend 16 feet wide at the top of the Y and contain 53,400 pixels.
The third, larger Y-shaped LED channel letter is 23 feet tall and mounted near the top of the building façade to stand out among the skyline. It spans 25 feet wide and consists of 129,000 pixels.
